Groupe CIR was founded in 1988 as a renovation works company, which expanded into real estate investment products. Headquartered in Bordeaux in south-western France, with offices in Paris, the group is comprised of c.125 employees. It operates 3 business lines: CIR, Urban Premium, and Agarim, each with distinct and complementary product offerings.
CIR offers to retail investors direct yield investments in renovated heritage buildings in prime city centres. CIR has developed a unique expertise in sourcing assets with high potential in city centres, transforming then packaging them into financial products, some of them eligible for tax incentives. Products are distributed through a network of c.800 partners (bank networks and IFAs). CIR markets c.1,250 products per year.
Urban Premium is an asset management company founded in 2010 and regulated by the AMF. Urban Premium manages assets through c.15 retail investment vehicles (SCPI) – primarily invested in renovated residential assets, and eligible for tax incentives. Urban Premium launched in 2020 an SCPI investing in COVID-proof commercial real estate. Urban Premium distributes its SCPIs through banking networks and IFAs.
Agarim offers bare ownership (capitalization) investment products to retail and institutional investors. Agarim was acquired by Groupe CIR in 2019.
